Dr. Christian Wong is a native of Burnaby, British Columbia. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of British Columbia, he worked at the Vancouver General Hospital Eye Care Centre for several years earning his Master of Science degree while researching therapies for retina disorders. He left Vancouver for Los Angeles, California, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, a second Master’s of Science degree as well as his Certificate of Orthodontics from the University of Southern California. Upon graduation, he received the Harry Dougherty Award for “Best Finished Cases.” Dr. Wong stays abreast of the latest advancements in orthodontics with memberships in numerous organizations including the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, Canadian Dental Association, and American Dental Association. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is Board eligible with the American Board of Orthodontics. As a former Orthodontic patient of Dr. David Kennedy, Dr. Wong is very pleased to have joined the Pediatric Dental Group where he received his braces many years ago. In his spare time, he likes to play golf, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
