Dr. Martin was born and raised in London, Ontario. After studying Life Sciences at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON and Dentistry at Western University in London, ON, she moved from Ontario to British Columbia for her orthodontic specialty training at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. Here, Dr. Martin completed her Master of Science in Craniofacial Science and received her Diploma in Orthodontics. Following her three-year orthodontic residency, the mountains and ocean won her over and in 2018 she moved to Vancouver Island to practice orthodontics in Nanaimo. When she’s not busy creating smiles at Thrive Orthodontics, Dr. Martin can be found spending time with friends and family and enjoying the great outdoors.
