Dr. Adams is a certified specialist in orthodontics. She graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) dental school and practiced general dentistry for four years before returning to her studies in orthodontics where she completed a Masters degree in orthodontics at the University of Alberta. Dr. Adams has worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC where she instructed senior dental students in the treatment of orthodontic patients. Dr. Adams has also given presentations to local dental study clubs on Current and Esthetic Orthodontic Treatment.

Dr. Adams belongs to the British Columbia Society of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists and the Canadian Association of Orthodontists. She established the Wire Works Study Club with other local orthodontists and has served as its President. Dr. Adams has also served the dental community as the orthodontic representative to the Dental Specialist Society.

Dr. Adams and her husband Peter, have three children: Matthew, Thomas and Jessica. She enjoys running, gardening and spending time with her children. Seeing the smiles from children and their parents as a result of her efforts is what makes her passionate about her work.

As a certified orthodontic specialist and parent of three, Dr. Adams' experience provides us with a unique and personable approach to helping children and adults boost their confidence and smile to their fullest potential.
