Steve graduated from Oregon State University in General Sciences, then went on to graduate from University of Oregon Dental School. He spent two years in the US Military as a general dentist.

Dr. Davis went on to practice general dentistry for 15 years in Smithers, B.C. as well as raising Llamas part time. He returned to graduate school at University of Alberta for three years to become a Certified Orthodontist plus receiving a Masters in Clinical Dentistry. He has enjoyed practicing Orthodontics in Penticton since July 1990
